Portex Thermovent 600 Heat and Moisture Exchanger HME

Description

Manufactured by Smiths Medical, THERMOVENT HME Filters complement the THERMOVENT 600 HME and THERMOVENT HME T Style, recovering approximately 75% of energy and moisture lost during respiration. These filters, equipped with high-efficiency HME paper elements, ensure minimal resistance to flow, aiding in ventilator weaning by reducing the work of breathing effort. With a small dead space (11.3 – 32 mL), the design caters to both ventilated and spontaneously breathing patients. Fully compatible with various breathing systems and masks, these filters are ideal for CPAP machines and oxygen concentrators.
