This attention to detail produces a finished extract, which optimally represents the herb from which it was made. Herb Pharm’s extracts are very rich in the aroma, taste and bioactive compounds of the original herbs themselves. They use pharmaceutical-grade, certified organic alcohol to make over 80% of their liquid herbal extracts.Herb Pharm prepares their Artichoke Extract from the leaf of Cynara scolymus plants, which are certified organically grown on their own farm. To assure optimal extraction of Artichoke’s bioactive compounds, the plants are hand-harvested at their optimal potency, are carefully shade-dried, and are then thoroughly extracted.
