BD Vacutainer Crossmatch Tubes are available in Plastic EDTA and plain clot activator tubes. They are used to obtain either a serum sample or a whole blood or EDTA sample. A lavender cap and a specialised crossmatch label, which is larger than the usual block label to allow more information to be recorded. .
